Two bids for this carousel were rejected by the owners, the Wintersteen family, who eventually removed it from the auction block. They eventually sold it in 2019 to the Salisbury Beach Partnership, a non-profit organization in Massachusetts. The carousel was restored and a custom building constructed to house it. It began operating at Salisbury Beach in Salisbury, MA in 2023.
