PJ's Carousel Collection was based out of Newbern, VA and produced miniature replicas of antique carousel figures in addition to their own original designs. They used a material they called gemwood, which consists of resin and crushed pecan shells. They were founded in 1979 by Pat and Jim Henson and closed in 2015.
