Please read the below guidelines before making a submission. If the below form does not work, contributions can be submitted by emailing carouselcatalog@gmail.com.
All submitted content must belong to you with the exception of The Carousel News & Trader, auction catalogue, blueprint, or diagram scans (the scan itself must belong to you, however).
Document, photo, catalogue, magazine, and advertisement scans should be of good quality when possible. They should include scans of all pages, including the cover, even if the information is outdated or irrelevant. PDF format is preferred.
Photo and video submissions should include the date and location.
Photo submissions may be edited to remove additional background items. For example, if you share a photo of a carousel horse in your home, it may be edited onto a plain background.
Old advertisement scans are welcome, but please do not submit current advertisements for services or goods. An exception will be made for any carousel that is at risk of being auctioned or scrapped, in which case it will be posted in hopes of finding a new home for the carousel and to encourage others to advocate for its continued operation.
Scans of The Merry-Go-Roundup are not accepted, as all volumes are available to members via the National Carousel Association's website. I highly recommend joining the NCA to gain access to their amazing archive and support the preservation of carousels.
